DIED - On the 2nd inst. Mr. SIMON FLETCHER. of Muddycreek Township, in the 84th year of his age. -- He was born in the city of London, (Eng.)
and emigrated to this country the year before Braddock's defeat. He served through the Revolutionary War. amd afterwards for a long series of time, fulfilled the duties of a teacher of youth, until prevented by age and infirmity. He was an early settler in this
county & always sustained an unblemished character. -- He has come to the grave in a good old age, leaving a numberous circle of relatives and neighbors who will remember him with affection and respect.
